SUMMER ART CAMPS 2024 (AGES 6-13)

Summer Camp classes explore many principles and applications of art using a variety of media such as clay, Paper-Mache, recycled materials, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylics and collage. During the first half of the class (approximately 2 hours), we will create projects out of clay and other materials that need extra time to dry. During the second half (after a short break), we will focus on drawing and painting animals, still-life objects, and landscapes.

These classes help develop creativity, outside the box problem-solving skills and nurture child's imagination. Young artists will come home with several original pieces of art each week.

Additional details: We have pretzels for snacks, and bottled water is provided. Your child can also bring a peanut-free snack and their own labeled water bottle if they like. On Friday we will have an ice cream party at the end of camp. Please let us know of any food allergies and/or other medical needs that your child may have at the time of registration and also before they begin their camp week. Finally, a paper towel roll per student is greatly appreciated but not required.
