Summer Art Camps - Mixed Media and Pottery

Summer Art Camps - Mixed Media and Pottery (Ages 6-13) and (Ages 10+)

Summer Camp classes explore many principles and applications of art using a variety of media such as clay, Paper-Mâché, recycled materials, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylics and collage. During the first half of the class (approximately 1.5 hour) we will create projects out of clay and other materials that need extra time to dry, and during the second half (after a short break) we will focus on drawing and painting animals, still life objects, landscapes, etc.

These classes help develop creativity, outside the box problem-solving skills and nurture child's imagination. Young artists will come home with several original pieces of art each week.
